I just want to share some information here. After I submitted my PR application in May 2020, the Canadian embassy in my country made a phone call to my father's company to confirm he is working there in July 2020. Honestly speaking, I am not sure whether if the call is related to my application. I feel they are connected.

I saw the case that the security wasn't started but passed after one week. Finger cross. By the way, I feel ircc is focusing on giving COPR these days. I can see some COPRs for applicants who got DM in November.

I am done with biometrics in 2019 during my work permit process .. that is valid for 10 years...even i didn’t pay biometrics fees when I submit my PR application... so thats why i think i m exempt..

Same here . I also did biometrics in 2019.
I applied Pr papers on Nov 2020.
But to be on the safe side , I still paid the biometrics fees

If we pay the wrong fees or Miss any important fess while submitting application , IRCC return application package ...Now they issue me AOR without biometrics fees... so i think they will not ask me for biometrics during this PR process ...may be the ask me later or may be they refund ur fees

Since you got AOR . I think you are good .
Or else you would have been requested to submit biometrics fees .
So all good for you I guess
For me I guess they’ll refund

Almost completing one year of AOR(16/01/2020)& biometric (17/01/2020). Current application status is 80% without medical request but now status bar is invisible.

I hope everything goes well.

Same with mine, it is going to a year now that I got my PAL. Since then no message from IRCC and my status percentage is 69%. No medical request yet
