What is your timeline? Lawyers are never in favour of upfront medical. You can do yourself anytime and submit it through webform to cic . In 1 month you will pass medical exam.

Obviously they are lazy . They don’t care about anyone. You should goto panel clinic and do upfront medical and submit through webform to cic . It will decrease your processing time and also make be you will get decision made soon . There is no harm in upfront medical. 0% harm.

You just need passport for upfront medical. Just visit any panel or physician approved by cic and book appointment with them . Let them know you are doing upfront medical. When they do medical they will give at medical E-sheet at the end which you will upload through webform to cic and doctor will send your results to cic automatically.

Ye your dependent have to wait for biometrics. You don’t need to give them but dependent have too. Are they in Canada?

You will get call from service Canada for appointment for biometrics for your spouse. They always call from no caller id . Just wait for their call . You are excempt from biometrics.

I see some applicants that receive their BIL in Sep or Oct inland and have already given their biometrics, so I'm anxious.

Well you can’t walk in for appointments for biometrics now . You can only wait for their call to have your biometrics done . Can’t do anything rather than waiting. You will get it soon. Don’t worry.
