Is your wife currently a Indian resident? I have seen cases where only the people residing outside canada are requested re-medical.

I called IRCC to get an update on the file today and if they can advise of any timeline. Agent informed they are only prioritizing student and workers right now and FSW/CEC Outland will not get anything atleast until sep 9 when the border is open for visitors. @legalfalcon Could you please share your views on this since all agents give different answers every time.

This is not an official announcement by IRCC. Some outland PR applicants are getting PPRs, but it is slow.

yeah its not an official announcement. On the dec 2019 group some of the UK residents have received PPRs. So might be dependent on many factors such as country of residence and maybe others. Even if the agent mentioned Sept 9th, its only a couple of months away

Medicals have nothing to do with your country of residence in terms of they being passed.
