hi everyone

iv been a silent observer here but would like to ask for inputs on the webform iv raised last week.

there was no mentioned on eligibility status but background, security and criminality noted to be "currently valid"
what does this mean though? planning to order gcms soon perhaps. but hope anyone could shed a light on this one especially @legalfalcon ?

If your background/security/criminality are "valid" then it implies your Eligibility has been Passed as well. Security starts after Eligibility is conclusively passed.

No, 4 in total. If you have them, then most likely your security too is passed and a final review is pending.

1. In my case (Medical expiry is Jan 2021 and passport Expiry is June 2021) do you advise to renew PP @legalfalcon ? What are the biometric scans? Do you mean the sticker we got when we did the biometric?

1. Your PP will expire almost 8 months from now. However, if your government allows, you should renew it so that you won't have to worry later and also you will get the maximum validity on your PR visa when it is issued.

If it is finalised, then you should soon get a PPR email. However, info form call centre and webforms are ambiguous. If an application is finalised, then it should be approved. Or is it the eligibility that has passed, and security is pending.

What exactly was the response.

Agent said all steps have completed including Background & criminality check as well. Mean while I was requested to upload Family Info document & Back ground form (IMM 5669) on Sep 8th document , they have given me one week time to upload them. I have submitted requested document on Sep 14th and agent said background /eligibility and all step were completed & application has been finalized. When I asked about if it is approved, he said he cant tell that, but will receive email about that

Usually the Family Info is asked when the application is at the final stage, right before the PPR is sent.

Just be patient and wait. You are almost there.

Does this mean the application is approved? (I read somewhere that blank security field means its Passed)

But it says final: approved...

Thank you for the feedback. I am still worried about the PP renewal. My country allows to renew even with 8 months validity (Only extra charges apply), and assuming I can courier it back to my residing country, will it be acceptable by IRCC to submit 4 passports for visa stamping in Country A while the three dependents are located in country B at that point?


Also, I am afraid that Passport update via webform will delay the processing time even more. I am planning to renew the PP and send the webform only AFTER receiving the golden email. Is that acceptable?

Status for selection EE Econ is passed.... does that mean that I passed all the stages...
My eligibility criminality is passed and security is blank with s.15 on the right corner
