Just checked and saw the below change post my biometrics in February:

Review of additional documents

• March 5, 2020 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

There was no date when I last checked. Is this what a GU is?

I think that they only have an issue with their website. Seems like everybody is receiving the same email. I got it 4 times in half an hr.

No, we have submitted a webform and are waiting for feedback. I am an outland applicant so I think we will be waiting a little while longer. Will let you know if we hear anything.

Seems it was just a notification to all applicants - would not read anything more into it.

Received the email twice in the last hour. I was guessing that we got this email as the application entered the 6th month without progress or maybe a glitch in the system.

@Airaelli02 , sometimes I wonder why the secur9takes so longgggggg. In all fairness my due date is July 22, but eligibility was passed from April 6th. It will be 2 months soon since security has been pending! But we just have to keep our chins up and keep waiting. The good news is that I got my BOWP, renewed my SIN online and got the SIN in the mail today. I will take the small wins!

Little out of Context here - can we apply for the SIN online too...I need to do it for my dependent ..
