Looks like the wait for us is going to be a bit longer. Saw some news that US Canada border is going to be closed (extended) till end of July. I believe this will also be for the overall travel to Canada if otherwise they mention a particular category of ppl can travel to Canada.

Has some one missed ppr confirmation email recently. I was told by the agent that i was sent an email last week about permanent residency confirmation and i never received one.
I received a webform too and it says i am a permanent resident of Canada, please reply to the email that was sent to you last week.

My cic account still says application in process.

Hi Guys ,

I am a CEC outland dependent & my wife is also outland currently.

My AOR is 17th Jan 2020 as per travel restrictions they are not issuing PPR/COPR to outland applicants.

But my wifes medical expired on 5th June 2020 & status changed to we do not required medical & we will update you from medical passed.

Do we need to wait until they ask for revised medical report ,will this get delayed again our application?

Please guide.

Did you mention your UCI number on the address on " from" field on the envelope??

I don’t think we should write UCI number n the envelop. We had to write it on the back of photo only. The letter clearly asks not to share this number. Problem is IRCC refused the package itself without opening it. Now when I check their website, the address on my letter is for appointment only and they have a different mailing address which is also nearby. Will check with customer service and based on confirmation will try to request courier company to deliver at other address.

Right. It seems it’s only case with Ottawa office that they have a different dedicated mailing address. Most of their locations are appointment only but there is a mention on top of the page which says if shipment is mailed no need of appointment.

So IRCC customer service confirmed that it was IRCC's mistake to enter that address. They confirmed me to send it to below address now

Purolator courier understood the situation and updated the address. Hopefully will get delivered by Friday.

@Sangram, I would suggest you wait for IRCC to request for it, if they need the new medical report... In several cases they give 6 months extension based on the state of health of the individual contained in the first report..

i think someone mentioned before that they are not issuing PR to outland applicants at this time, so as to discourage people from traveling while the travel restrictions are still in place
