Where does the COPR go? I'm in Canada and my wife in Ecuador. My wife is the applicant...but there really is not a mail system in Ecuador so will it come to me in Canada?

1. Our interview is scheduled to take place in Accra Ghana on Jan 30th. Currently, the applicant resides in the USA, is it possible that we request for the interview to be done in the USA?

2. If we go to Ghana for the interview, how soon after the interview do they stamp the passport?

Most probably you can't change the venue. Even if they do it (which I doubt about) it can cost you many more months of waiting.

The decision can be announced immediately on the interview or any time after it.

Usually a sponsor can come with a PA, but it's on their discretion to allow a sponsor inside. You can write them an email and ask this question.

We're still waiting ...timeline in signature. File was transferred to Mexico VO Oct 3/19 and they sent pre-arrival letter Oct. 28 along with ADR, then another ADR on Nov. 27th. We have complied with both ADRs and hopefully PPR is next!!

What is ADR? And is the pre arrival letter the letter you get with the AOR2? I got a letter telling me about interviews and the services available pre arrival. This is the pre arrival letter?

Usually all Canadian overseas visa offices and embassies have the same schedule as inland government organizations, meaning they should be closed December 25, 26 and January 1.

I was wondering how many January applicants are still waiting in the processing line.
We are still waiting and I know of 5 other applicants in another forum with similar timelines.
Anybody from January with similar situation?

My application still says we are reviewing the additional docs you have provided, since 7 months. In November the file got sent to London visa office, after emailing them for any update their reply was basically that the application is at the early stage. Really? My application is 97% done and they can say at the early stage? What to do, only to wait and pray!

Congratulations. .. mine transferred to London’s VO on Oct 3 .. and they started processing in Oct 4 .. biometrics request on Nov 11th , and bio completed in DEC 5th .. then no update

Hi , actually it’s stated in my timeline that they started processing ... it’s really frustrating to wait all that long to get together with our partners .. they should change this process .. other countries doesn’t need that much .. and also they don’t give us even a tourist visa to be able to enter and meet our partner!
