It is recommended that you create a GCkey account. That's where you get most of the updates (I assume..) If you don't have one and your application isn't linked, they will most likely send you the request letter via e-mail with an attachment.

Nobody gets mail anymore as far as I know, as long as they have your e-mail in the system, they will communicate all correspondences electronically. I received the letter in the message section of my GCkey account.

ok thank you I don’t have that my application ain’t linked I tried did not work so I guess I will get it by email then I paid for it and sent the receipt I just did not get any letter yet

I recently saw I got email with passport request. It is strange I submitted ADR April 18 and I didn’t get any email saying the documents are uploaded or it is being sent to officer to have a look at it . Directly got passport request this morning

Requested for wedding , putting photos with family and more proof of marriage, so I resent everything tht I initially sent it with original file

I paid for biomatrics on 28th March 2019 but still waiting for the letter.
I have done medical exam on 1st April 2019 and its showing on ECAS that medical results has been received. After that no update from IRCC

I want to under stand where my application is lying, what would be the next step, how much approximate timeline for all these. it's getting frustrating for me to check online everyday with no update.

Bro we all are in same boat.. so nothing will change worrying about application.
You have to wait for bio metric letter from ircc until than you cannot do anything.

So Let's wish we all get it sooner like others who already did

You need to accept that this is the way the process is. We went 7 months with no update. Periods of silence, sometimes long, are normal.

What is the difference between ECAS and GCKEY. I can link my account there?

If they received that means you have passed the medical.. this one of the agent from IRCC told me.. so don't worry
