Do you have a representative who might have received the email if not it may have ended in your spam folder? Have you made sure by calling them that it's still in Sydney?
No, I don’t have a rep. I did call them almost 2 weeks before, the agent said it was still in Sydney but he was rude. I have GCkey and Ecas both. I check my spam as well regularly. I am thinking of calling them tomorrow.

Yeah do call them. Try calling on different timing though, hope you get a nice one this time.
From what I have noticed on this forum, there are people who didn't get anything for the longest time and then they got everything all together and somehow made the same progress as other applicants. It may be taking longer for initial assessment as file goes through stages/phases and looked by a number of officers.
Thanks! Yes, my husband's ecas status shows as decision made!
I also tried linking my application using the tips suggested on the tracker, (both as Married and 2 people & Single and 1 combination) but no luck.
I guess I need to be more patient.
In my case, I struggled with it for 10 days trying every combination but turned out I was entering a passport detail incorrectly the entire time. As silly as I felt when I realized it, I was able to connect the app
Moral of the story: doesn't hurt to double check the particulars you are entering.
Hey girl. I think you should try calling them. I was told by the rep I spoke to today (ironically was the nice guy I spoke to weeks ago who told me that my file was transferred), he told me there wasn't any email sent out for that or that my medical passed. So that part was confusing because I thought emails did get sent regarding any update. But he verified again that my file was transferred in March so I would call them. I'm antsy because I still haven't gotten biometrics request or a message on ecas that they are processing my application under PR.
I completed my biometrics on 9th and since then haven't heard anything.. I have tried every possible combination to link my application online but it just does not happen, so I do not even know if there would be any kind of update there. Status on ECAS hasnt changed since they have received medicals(19th March), neither have i been asked for any additional documents.
What cud possibly be happening with my file??? The wait seems too long now

Oh really? I called the other day and she just told me everything that I could already see on my GCkey and that my file was still in Canada. I guess that could mean Mississauga. Maybe I’ll try call again tomorrow.

I submitted the application in NOVEMBER 2018 and am STILL awaiting transfer to MEXICO VO.
I called this week, and they confirm our app is still in Sydney. They very correctly remind me it's still within the 12 month frame, so keep waiting.

Yes. Call them and specifically ask if your file was transferred and if so where and when as you were not sent any correspondence and they should let you know.
@alaria - Thank you for the useful link, i did go through it and followed each step and tried all possible permutation combinations but unfortunately it did not work
10 days since biometrics done and almost a month now since file transferred to CPC - M and medical passed, no update from CIC still
Hello everyone,
Does anyone have the typical message format for biometrics request on ECAS?
I have a representative and my concern is maybe they are missing a message form CIC.

they will send you an email wtih an attachment like as below
This letter refers to your application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for one of the following documents to come to or remain in Canada:
• temporary resident permit;
• work permit;
• study permit;
• temporary resident visa;
• visitor record;
• permanent resident application; or
• permanent resident card renewal.
Under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and its Regulations, you are required to have your fingerprints scanned and your photograph taken (your biometrics) at a biometric collection service point to help Visa Officers determine if you may enter or stay in Canada. Most applicants will need to give their biometrics at a biometric collection service point abroad before they travel to Canada.
Only those who are eligible to apply for a or a at a designated port of entry can give their biometrics upon arrival in Canada.
Note: If you received this letter you must give your biometrics before coming to Canada and are not eligible to have your fingerprints and photograph taken at a Canadian port of entry. If you are already in Canada, you will have to leave the country to provide your biometrics.
Why is IRCC collecting my fingerprints and photograph?
Your biometric information will be used under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and its Regulations to determine if you may enter or stay in Canada. Your fingerprints may also be shared with law enforcement agencies in Canada and may be used for the enforcement of any Canadian or provincial law. For more information about why the Government of Canada collects biometrics, how it uses your information and how it protects your privacy,

Thanks. Since I have a representative I do not have access to GCKey, instead the firm would receive the above email.
I would like to know what would be the notification message like in ECAS.
