Keeping my own impatient mind calm is why I asked the question in the first place
The grind my own PR app went through has taught me nothing is certain with this process. My PR + PNP apps went on from Aug 2015 to June 2017.
That said I certainly have high hopes my wife’s PR will by MUCH faster than that
I feel we are still newbies to understand cpc-m process. I want the same as you to faster than ever so I spent time to just find out this so I won’t check the ecas last thing before going to bed and first thing upon waking up.

Does it makes any difference if we login into ecas with sa information ? Coz i m able to see only progress in sa side and on pa side only we received...

You know, when I applied for PR I thought the entire process went super quickly. I was a lot more chill. I was an international student here in Canada at the time so I had no hurry but now, for my husband’s sponsorship, waiting a week is like an eternity hahahahaha being forced into a long distance relationship does not help at all either, lol.

I am in this with you... my process took 6 months thru express entry. N was in canada on work permit, life was usual. But now waiting for wife’s pr is something i am not able to do. Getting toooo impatient

The return reason is not even clear, nor can i link to CIC using the uci and application # provided....
I think it may be because my wife has no last name on her passport, but we have put her first name as her family name.. this is wat someone recommended to me. ??

I can totally relate. I was absolutely devastated when mine was returned. Please let me tell you, when mine came back and I saw it was a very small detail, I was so happy I cried. I fixed it and put the app right back in the mail right then and there. Currently, we have finally gotten back on track and not far off from where we should have been. For me, after sending it back, I was much more relieved.
I believe you were right to put her name the way you did, I've seen that advice given before as well.
You will not be able to link because it has been returned. The temporary file # will no longer be used, you will receive a new one.
Please try to remain calm, and know that it is fixable and it WILL happen first you.

Basically that was the mind set I put myself in after I resubmitted. The good thing is, you will know exactly what's required, so it won't be returned again. For me it was a LOT quicker the 2nd time.

I think it depends on what the form is or if it needs new signatures. I personally did not update anything. There had been updates after I submitted, but I still sent in the same forms I had originally.
I was missing into on the additional family forms, that's it.
