I have a question; My wife just received an email saying our application got sent to CPC Mississauga. Is that good news? I thought that the application was going to be sent to the local VO (I’m in USA, New York).

Hi, can you give some more info., as in 6 days it took for IRCC to receive the medical? And at which centre did your spouse got the medicals done? Would appreciate your response.
My spouse has taken appointment for Friday.
Hi,
My husband claimed for me (that I was living out of the country and not even a PR yet at that time) 3 years in a row the spouse support. He is filling taxes with a specialist accountant that told him that it doesn't matter where the spouse is living, it matters to prove that the spouse has an income lower than 11 k CAD and he is the one supporting financially. You should try. You will receive back a good amount of money. You need to show proof of course.
Dude i just read they requested you for biometrics.. I hope you can do your biometrics here in Canada... what was the rcmp biometrcis for? cic is way toooo confusing sometimes...
As you know from my signature, I have an Outland Spousal application going on. I paid $1,675 in total including Bio-metrics while applying. Now, I just noticed I have a refund in my credit card for $550 saying,
“CITIZENSHIP & IMM ON-L
Business Return”
I am so panicked now
Why would they refund!!! I didn’t get any communication. Any idea anyone?

Good to know some are getting AOR2.
I am January 15 and still waiting for AoR. Do not know how they process applications. Even 9 Feb are got their AoRs
Thanks to both of you.
Why the hell it says is recommended to pay RPRF upfront? Will they ask at a later day to pay this or $1,125 is the total fees that we have to pay in total? So confusing!

I am pretty sure u can do ur biometrics at POE since u r on work permit.
For others: For trv i had applied i had got a correspondence saying we do not need to do biometrics for trv as our biometrics was done for pr application but letter clearly stated that for any pr application we will have to do biometrics again. So i think for every pr application biometrics needs to be done again no matter if old biometrics are still valid.
