Good day all, Please i need idea on my situation, I am applying as married but my wife is in the uk applying for indefinite leave to remain since 2013. I am including her as an un-accompanying spouse . I want to know if her overstaying in the uk and have been applying for indefinite leave to remain with her appealing their decision and presently applying again. will it be a problem to my express entry application? lastly she is presently pregnant and also reason for not going with me
Visited VAC last Thurs (March 14, 2019). They did not ask for our biometrics. I asked the lady in the counter why our biometrics are not needed. She said, it's the embassy's decision if they would ask someone for their biometrics or not. All in all, we only paid less than a thousand pesos for our passport request.

I do not know the whole picture of your case but the only thing I can tell you is that it is fine to add your spouse as a non-accompanying member and mention she is pregnant. When I applied my PR, I did the same but my spouse was a student. However, I have no idea about indefinite leave. As long as it is legal, you have no problem.
One lingering question in my head. I've tried all combinations/ permutations as read from here to try and link app to online account but unable to find it every time. Is there any way in which I may call / email them and ircc would link it to my account for me? I want to get out of this mental block of anxiously checking ecas every day.
Let me know your thoughts! Cheers and best of luck to all in here waiting to be re-united with their loved ones!

Me, its ok. From what I read here they have a 2 months grace period if you use old check list, as long as all needed docs are provided. The only difference between the june and dec checklist is the inclusion of the biometrics fee. If you haven’t paid for that they will ask you to pay for it in a later date.

I don't think what the VAC lady told you is correct. The rules are pretty clear on who needs to provide biometrics and when. At this point all permanent resident applicants must provide them. If your application was received before December 31, 2018, however, and you are from Asia, Asia Pacific or the Americas, you were exempt.
Yeah the order of these updates seems to vary for most people.
I got the SA email next day after seeing it go to “Decision Made” on eCAS.
My wife has since received the medical instructions in email and her UCI number is generated. I can now search in eCAS by PA info as well (only displays info on PA’s application for PR this way for those wondering)
I’ve tried her info/my info, married/single, passport/place of birth and 1/2 for family members on application - but to no avail
