Hi, I sent my application one month back and didn't add handwritten signature on the Background Declaration form. My question is once IRCC return the application can I just add the signature and submit the same set of forms? (My wife is in India and I can ask her to send the form with handwritten signature).

You would have to use the updated application forms. That’s what I did.

My husband called CIC today, and unluckily, we were told that our application was incomplete and returned. As such, will the officer stated precisely in the returned mail what needs to be completed? So, we can just do what the officer mentik Also, we didn’t pay for the biometrics last time, should we pay it and send the receipt with the application this time?

Don't assume - check your entire application. They've been known to send it back at the first error and not check the rest.

Delivered to the Sydney office on 3 Jan. Since we used a rep, we asked the rep about the status and he knew nothing. Just kept on telling me that we had to wait for 20 weeks. Therefore, we decided to call CIC by ourselves. CIC told us that it was returned on 25 Feb and until just now, the rep said they didn’t receive the package.

Sorry to hear that. Just be more careful when you submit next time, Go through all documents thoroughly.

The documents are with the rep. I never have the chance to see the whole set of documents. Btw, I am not in Canada now.

Give it time to the end of the week, and if you don't hear anything till Friday, give them a call. Ask if they have received an app, maybe they'll give you a temporary file number (it has been discussed in this thread), or if they have returned it then maybe they will at least tell you about it.

Seems like you can't do anything with the temp file number. I called last week and they were able to provide a temp file number and they confirmed they received my application January 24th but haven't gotten AOR or anything on ECAS. I think the temp file number is useless
