I just linked my application on Gckey account and I was just checking and clicked on
--->view submitted application or upload documents
--> On Top something written "Documents submitted by the client"
----> Applicant name-------: Supporting Documents
----> Applicant Name-----: Optional Documents
----> Fees
My question is: Do we all have same wording tab or its depend on application or maybe in future officer will ask to provide document on each tab that's why at starting application they are providing ?
Sorry for my late response, but again, I really appreciate your kindness and help--thank you! In GCKey I see that they are reviewing eligibility (ECAS is not really updated with much) and then under background check it does say "we are processing your background check." So that means that they are working on the background check right? That may be a super silly question of the obvious but I just want to make sure I am understanding because I didn't receive any email. Also to update the spreadsheet I don't know which date to put if this is background check :$ The last thing I got was that they are sending the visa to the Paris VO and nothing about them receiving the medical results (exam was done March 7th). I have no idea what's going on I need to calm down LOL!
My friend is AOR Oct first week. Got pr and passport stamped on Saturday. My question is that he paid rprf in Feb 15 and got passports request on 4 March. And I paid on 29 January still no movement from ndvo. Any expect advise. File transfer to ndvo on 15 Feb 2019
Hey could tell more about your friend’s case. Was his file gone to Mississauga or NDVO? Was his case really simple? I see a lot of people from October got their DM/ppr. Please find out more about them because not everyone from October got their DM.

Yes if you can see it on GCkey saying they processing background check then means they are working on it already, not sure about exact date they started, so I would suggest to put on the date you noticed there in stead.
Regarding the medical exam updates, my rep told me even your physician already uploaded your results to the system, it doesn’t always show on your ECAS/GCkey. (If you’re not sure if your results has been submitted or not, call your doctor to check it for you) But once the CIC doctor reviewed your results then it will be updated there.
So far I’ve only seen one person got his medical exam updated in this thread so it’s nothing to worry about

Give it time to the end of the week, and if you don't hear anything till Friday, give them a call. Ask if they have received an app, maybe they'll give you a temporary file number (it has been discussed in this thread), or if they have returned it then maybe they will at least tell you about it.
But if you, the Sponsor, are the Rep (an unpaid rep), then you can't link anything anyway, right? Or am I missing something?
I've tried every concoction of information (sponsor and PA info) to try to link our information with the GCKey acct. and nothing works for either of us. I think I remember info in the initial application instructions that if you are an unpaid rep, you can't link to GCKey. Any comments on this?
I originally applied in October and my application was returned because we missed adding a handwritten signature on the Background Declaration form. I mailed our application again today after filling the updated forms and including all the [updated] supporting documentation to Sydney. The application is expected to arrive on January 18, 2019. Fingers and toes crossed this time. Good luck to us all.
Hi, but on background declaration, they just mentioned to type name electronically then this is baseless to return the application based on it. did you call CIC to get clarification
