Outland. Was guessing it will go to New Delhi but went to Mississauga. All indian pa from December (from December thread) also were transferred to Mississauga. So urs might go there too.

Do Dec 2018 applicants need to do biometric too? Then we can have an idea after how long that have received the biometric request after paying fees.

As per the December thread they are also getting biometrics... it is mandatory I guess now for ongoing applications too.. I guess for applications in later stage like close to PPR wont get biometrics, but they will do it at Port of Entry ie. when they enter Canada the first time as PR.

No idea.. read they process files in around 6 months.. in some cases they forwarded the file to local VO for final processing.. you never know what they do...

a November applicant got PPR today.. they got AOR2 from Mississauga on March 1st and PPR mail today..

'Your application now has a progress bar. The progress bar shows the time elapsed since we received your application. It gives you an estimated completion date based on our latest processing times.'

But I didn’t receive my aor yet . My application was received on jan 21

Is this normal? Does anyone received email like this before AOR?

this means they have ur data put into the system.. this email is an automated email and everyone who has an active application going on, got this.. this means (I am guessing) your application is uploaded on the system and things are looking good.. but again I am just guessing...
