When can i pay it?..will it cause any delay?

I just got my Biometrics request today and I haven't paid either. Don't worry, they give you instructions in the letter on how to pay and where online to pay it, etc.

Aw crap. For some reason we got confused whether my husband needed to get biometrics or not (US citizen) and we didn’t pay for it upfront. Just paid for it now. Great. Another thing to work against at, lol.

They will request you to pay and send the receipt to them.

Rules are the same but it depends where you are in the world. It's ok if you're in Canada on visitor, study or work permit. Your panel physician is able to send the medical result to immigration Canada.

Agree.. medicals is different, CIC website doesn't say that you cant do medicals in Canada while in Canada. But for biometrics it is only allowing certain students and workers. I am just passing on the website info.

Other info I read is that for PR purposes applicant has to give biometrics no matter what. If PR is filed second time, biometrics will be needed the second time too, doesn't matter if time difference was 5 months between 2 pr applications.

Just like approved panel physicians, there is a list of locations for Biometrics. For Canadian locations only students and workers are allowed.

Relax, it's OK if you don't pay upfront. I didn't and just got the biometric request and letter requesting payment now. Application recd in NS Jan 4; AOR recd Feb 23; etc.

Students and workers can stay for more than 6 months at a time. On a visitor visa you have to leave within 6 months. anyways we will see what @roan101 does.. it should clear things up...

My husband (PA) just received instruction on how to pay and how to send biometrics fee/receipt. Will pay now.

Yeah that's what happened. We got the request to pay. It's just a little frustrating because we could have avoided having to send it through a webform in the first place.

Yes, sorry, I said I had both but that's incorrect. I only have the request to pay for biometrics today and I had until April 4th to pay for them.

I plan to pay online as they instruct and send receipt through webform.

I already have the medical request for my PA and his daughter although the name is incorrect on hers so I'm waiting for them to correct that before they can get their medicals done.

It states right in the biometrics payment request letter … "Note: You only need to pay biometric fees at this time. When you application is processed you will receive further instructions on when and how to give your biometrics. For more information on biometrics, please visit the IRCC website at https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/campaigns/biometrics/facts.html"
