My file received at nova scotia on 11 jan but nothing yet for me.
I was trying to link my application using reciept number but was unable to do it my wife does not have last name on the application that could be the reason ?

Have you checked ECAS with your receipt number from a Government of Canada fee using the sponsor's info? I am January 11th and that's how I found some information out.

Pay for it immediately. you pay online. then webform the receipt with all your case info, name, bday of you and sponsor etc...

My file received at Nova Scotia on 14th jan
. No reply till yet. I have done one big mistake that is I did esign on Imm008 instead of hand sign. So I m sure they will return my file but I got nothing. My next file is ready for resubmission. Any idea how long it will take them to return my file?

It will most likely be returned, unfortunately. Same thing happened to me when I had originally applied in October. They returned the application in January and I had to resubmit using the most recent forms, etc.

I didn't pay biometrics fee with application I'm from india.. do i need to pay itfr biometrics?.

There could be the high possibility that you receive an email of paying your Bio metric fees . I don't see your application could return , but yes bit delay could be possible..

same thing happened to me. I only paid 1040, no biometrics fee. I called CIC, and was told to wait for further instruction on when to pay the biometrics.

i find my self looking at myCIC and ECAS a bunch of time a day, even though I know I will receive an email if there are any changes/ messages on our file. It's crazy.

Hi fellow Jan 7th applicant haha. Sadly my husband has his medical session on the 7th of March so we won't be hearing anything anytime soon I would imagine.
