Did anyone else on here apply under Family Class while in Canada? i.e your partner is currently living with you in Canada but applied in the Outland (Family Class) stream? My partner and I did this because his current IEC visa will expire in April and he wanted to go home to visit family (this would have jeopardized an Inland application as far as we read).

For anyone curious, this was the third option listed on the Document Checklist:

"I am currently living in Canada, and I am applying under the Family Class (not the Spouse or Common-Law Parter in Canada Class). I understand I may be convoked into attending an interview at a visa office outside Canada."

Our application was received by courier at the Sydney, NS office on January 18, 2019. Haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully all our AOR's get sent out shortly!

Yes my fiancé and i did! We have a newborn and thought this was best as i would like to go back to my home country sometime this year!

Thankyou! I am from Western Australia, and only plan on going back for like a month or two when I do. I’m kind of just playing everything by ear right now because my future is in the hands of the Canadian government hahaha! Where is your partner from?

He's an Aussie as well, from NSW. We're currently living in SK where I'm from. I'm so eager to hear anything back from IRCC!

Where abouts in NSW? We are on Vancouver island! Yes so eager to get AOR and get the ball rolling.. I think it’ll be our turn pretty soon.

My ecas is active and i was able to link application to cic thru gckey. I found the application number through cic website as havent received any email yet.

App received jan 3rd 2019 syndey NS.

Does this mean my application is all good now and wont be returned for missing stuff??
