it seems that you mistakenly ticked (yes )in question # 1- language details in the generic form .that's why they are asking for it .its not required for spouse to have IELTS.its only principal applicant .
I have checked the copy of the generic form I have at hand and I ticked No. I do not know what the reason to ask spouses IELTS, but I am going to request an extension for the deadline. Since it is difficult to get the test result with in the deadline.
