I called them.. As usual, they answered "Your application is still in the schedule. Only medical is done." Very generic answers based on GCKey cic site information. It's been twice of the same reply when I called Cic.

Is your application status "Application Received" change to "In process" ?
I think our timeline are almost similar.

No. Still AR. You sent the WEBFORM to get your local visa office.

I am also confused. I (principal) am inland while my dependents are outland(Philippines). What I know is that I submitted my documents to Sydney.

I don't know if local VO is in Sydney or the Philippines...

In my opinion, I think your application might have probably sent to Philippines since your dependence are there, their background checking may be done by the visa office of your home country. If all of you were in Canada then it would have send to Ottawa or somewhere in Canada.
