RCMP request is Biometric? They do take finger prints or this is biometric or its different.

Yeah, It was a biometric request. Apparently RCMP sends the results directly to IRCC and they send a copy to you. So no action is required at your end. And the process is all electronic. So no real wait period after fingerprinting is done. At least this is what my lawyer told me.
