I applied for citizenship.
I have seen, candidate who applied in late January and in feb 2019 got test dates , but i didn't. So i was concerned why i didn't get any response yet.
Also do let me know for - My existing passport has expired in june 2019 . I didn't get it renewed thinking i could save money on rerewal as i ll get Canadian passport .
Can it affect my application ? Should I renew my existing passport ?
My existing passport is from India.

In the cic website it is not necessary to have a new passport, it does not mention you have to have it, it mentions only the ones listed in the application, be it current or be it expired, as long as they were in the application you have to bring them.

So I emailed IRCC.DNCitSCRScheduling-ConvocationSCRCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca as instructed in the official email on 06Sep2019. It's been 4 days and I still have not received any response. I am just wondering if it's normal? Please advise thanks.

I think it is normal. They take long time to reply as far as I know. If you want to be more certain, just get the phone number( I do not remember now) from their website and call them. That way you would have a response faster.

i Think they wont give you any reply for that.. they will send you new oath invitation letter for new dats so dont worry abt that ...
