What did people use for ID proof? I don’t get this requirement, as I already included a photocopy of my passport, and my PR card, so what else is there?
I mean, I included my Ontario driving license. I guess I could have used OHIP if I didn’t have a license? Just seems like an odd request given they essentially already have two photo IDs.
Hello all!
I'm actually November 2018 applicant, but my application was return as I forgot to sign calculator presence form (yeah silly me). So I've resubmited my application and it was delivered today, so I'm starting days counting from now.
Hello, I've submitted our application and would like to be added to the sheet. Here's my info:
ID: GraceMc05
Location: Chilliwack, BC
App type: BC
Physical presence days: 1797
App sent: January 23, 2019
App delivered: January 28, 2019
I do hope vidyasagar is wrong about this and if not you're not the only one GraceCan. I didn't include details of my addresses before I landed because logically I'm not eligible before the date of landing. My eligibility days only started when I finally moved to Canada.
I guess we just have to wait if we're getting our application back.
"
Where have you lived during your eligibility period? please list addresses inside and outside of Canada. you addresses must cover the entire eligibility period. If there are gaps or missing periods your application will be returned to you.
"
I really don't understand why one has to assume things here?. your PR date is nothing to do with your eligibility period.
Anyway. nothing wrong in providing addresses for entire eligibility period. no one will return your application if you provide addresses for the entire period.
Maybe I am limited in my understanding the things.

Don't be so disappointed vidyasagar. I didn't say you were wrong. I'm hoping you were wrong for my application's sake.
I have made my assumption just like you have yours:
"My Eligibility period is almost the same as yours and the residency scenario also same.
1. You have to mention all the address within the eligibility period. When you become PR is irrelevant
2. YES, you need to provide a police certificate if you stayed outside of Canada for 183 days (Even if it is before you become PR)
(This is required because, once you get you Canada onetime VISA, you still have one year to enter Canada and become PR, So your old police certificate will not cover that one year. and IRCC needs to check your record during that time. That's the reason they put 4 years as eligibility period)
3. There is a mistake in the application form. The question should be " did you stayed outside Canada for more than 183 days as "crown servant"?. Since the question is not correct. you still need to answer to that question "YES" and add an explanation letter with CIT 0177 form (Filled with N/A) saying that it's not applicable to me (if you are really not a crown servant)
4. Yes."
Those above were just your assumptions, unless, you can point me anywhere in CIC's website/guides that those above claims exist.
