One of my friend has applied for PR from London UK in Express Entry. He has now moved to Australia. He is a Doctor and is working on Work Visa there. He checked his spam today N got shocked to see that his PPR email is lying there from 3 Oct 2019 n Today is 29 Oct 2019. He is a British Passport holder. He don’t need visa to enter Canada.
Do you guys have any idea what is he supposed to do now ? Please.. any help or suggestion will be much appreciated.
Call IRCC asap to let them know about this, and in the mean time get all the documents ready to send to VFS. IRCC gives you 30 days to send your passport, your friend still has a few days left. Good luck!
Ghost update is almost guaranteed to be positive. An immigration officer had to manually work on your file. If there was an issue, you'd get an ADR, PFL or rejection. Instead, a ghost update implies progress, usually with one or more intermediary steps being passed..

Since he is still within timelimit of 30 days he need to follow instructions and send the required documents (usually he doesn't need to send passport as he doesn't need a counterfoil) as per the email.
i got an update but when i logged in my medical status changed , before it was medical passed on April 3rd now it is you do not need a medical , we will let you know if this changes . My medical expired on October 21st
Thanks for being very supportive here and providing useful information. I would like to know the procedure for sending the documents (passport+photos) from either Pune or Chennai in India. I am currently in US, but will be travelling to India very soon. I am not aware of the procedure to send the documents from India. The CPCO-final request email gives the information below, but it is only for residents in US and Canada. Thanks looking forward to your help please!
