That's honestly the feeling. And it's like all they wanna talk about now is renting a place, booking flights and all that stuff, which makes me sad cos I could be doing the same thing by now.

Well to be perfectly honest and taking everything into account, whatever comes after PPR is physiologically more stressing than waiting for that dam ''golden email''.
I don't mind all of that knowing that I got a foot step into Canada after almost 3 years going through the immigration process.
My meds had expired by end of June. My spouse and kids's meds expired earlier this month. After my medicals expired, the status had changed from Passed to 'you do not need a medical exam'.
On the day of meds expiry of spouse/kid, I received a remed request. But it asked only my medicals, no mention of my spouse and kid. I did medicals quickly. Then on Friday, the status of meds changed to Medicals passed.
I am assuming that cic has extended my spouse and kid medicals as the status now says passed.

But was it your original medicals that were passed OR re-medical request that was passed in March?
As I understand, first medical pass happens at around 1 month mark for most applicants. However if your medicals expire during the processing after that, you either get a re-med request OR CIC extends your medical validity.
If a re-medical is requested, then as per most of the users on this forum, it is a sign of all other status being passed and usually results in a PPR email shortly (or so I wish to believe now )
