Just relax and enjoy a work-free life. after going there, you have to start the rat race again......
I am fine with it.. but for how long do I need to wait is the question .. i can happily wait for a month.. but beyond that it will lead to frustration.. sitting idle

I’ve been waiting since February and it does suck, honestly would be safer to just wait and not work for now.

Having no deadline is freaking me out actually.. it could take 1 day or 6 months.. I don’t know.. i do want to enjoy this time .. but can’t as I would constantly be secretly hoping for this to end quickly

It can be a little stressful, it’s been tough for me these past few months but hang in there
Hey guys.. need advice
Last day at work tomorrow, i’d resigned in the assumption that if not 6 then at least by the 7th month I will have my visa.
Now the thing is I have another offer in hand, but I am unsure if I should join it. Because I guess we are all in the last lap of waiting, and that the ppr might come any minute. But what if it doesn’t? I don’t want to sit at home idle waiting for the ppr.. joining another organisation seems unethical (as it will be only for a short duration a month or 2 or 3 at max)

I don't think our wait will be that long. I don't know your VO but since last 2 weeks we can't see many PPR being issued but the case won't be same every week. I am sure the coming week will see lot of golden emails coming..I can see Dec AOR people finally getting PRs irrespective of VO's..we all are not too far..just a matter of couple of days I think

Exactly in the same boat buddy. Paid RPRF on 23rd and same status as per raulph.. waiting for PPR
Does your RPRF request letter say anything about admissibility review in process?
Hey..
I have been a silent member of this group since some time.. I received my AOR on 30th Jan.. have crossed the six months period.. was request RPRF on 23rd July.. paid it the next day. But nothing has happened after that.. I emailed Ralph a couple of days ago and following was the response
I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Jan 30, 2019. It is in London.
Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Assessments are complete and passed.
The file is awaiting final review and decision.
Medicals are valid until Jan 2020.
Sincerely,
Robyn Sullivan

Any idea what the next step could be?

Mine is Ottawa too and if see the trend not many Jan AOr have got PR's. Once they release PR'S in batches we are going to get it..

no.
this is wat it reads
"
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require that you upload the following documents to your online account:
RPRF: A receipt confirming payment of the Right of Permanent Residence fee for you and your spouse"

I would recommend taking up the new job or trying to continue at your current job (if its a possibility). I quit a lucrative job under this same assumption and how I wish I had not taken such a hasty decision. The wait time is a black box and since we cannot control it we would rather not throw away our
existing sources of income as it just adds to the level of frustration. Take it from me and do not place all your eggs in one basket, especially when we live in times of such uncertainty. A job or any work for that matter is the best distraction at this stage.

I hope this is true for all of us, I have been watching the immitracker trend and agree with you that quite a few Jan AOR members across all regions are still awaiting PPR. And it has been a very slow couple of weeks after the surge towards the end of July-19. Will hope and pray that we have the same surge in the coming weeks and we all receive the golden mail.
no.

Awesome! You are pretty much done. PPR is coming soon

I think the same too. But joining a company just for a month or 2.. doesn’t seem quite right.. what would i say when i would have to quit?
