Good Morning Mumbaikar Brother,

Bro, have some questions if you can answer them for me please.

So I called CIC today for an update as completed 6 months yesterday. They said on the file the final date for the decision to be made shows as 21st August. Like I am wondering I have never read in this forum anyone getting a date from CIC post 6 months.

1. Do you know why they have 21st August date as their deadline as looks fairly new to me?

2. I am a CEC category 1st Feb, 2019 AOR however for my current employer I didnt submit the reference letter at the time of the application as employer was not cooperating for the same so wrote a letter of explanation then however I submitted the reference letter in May as I got the same from the employer is that a concern?

3. I am on a closed work permit so do they still do the verification again at my previous employers as I believe they might have done verification before issuing a work permit as mine is an LMIA one.

Congratulations! Do you know which VO you were at? And did you have any issues along your application process? Great news for you, just before the long weekend in Canada too! Hopefully after the holiday all the IRCC agents will be motivated and process all our applications

Hi,

What you just shared is becoming common these days for CEC applicants. The timelines change and sometimes even reflect on the main account. Have u checked for that? If not updated, it’s still normal. Don’t worry. I see it as a positive.. maybe you might get your PPR by the 21st Aug which isn’t that far to be honest

On your 2nd point- here is how I see it, if you have submitted the relevant document, there is nothing to worry. Being transparent first was a good idea and I don’t see this affecting your application in anyway.

In most cases, work verifications are unheard of but not new. The documents should suffice in most cases like your appointment letter, salary slips etc .. don’t worry.

Call your GCMS notes and on Tuesday call CIC to ask if there are any RRs on your account just to be on the safer side.

If they say eligibility is recommended pass or met.. you are most certainly getting your PPR soon after

Guys i have received the PPR email...MY AOR was 16th Jan and i got the reply from Ralph's office that my criminality is in progress and nothing else yet started on 26th July. My VO is Ottawa.
