AoR Jan 28, no word since Biometrics completed.
I submitted a CSE webform asking about my status on July 19, and I should have heard back from them by now...
It's either a good sign that I'm not getting a response or a really bad sign...
I heard the notes will get delayed if the application is about to get a final decision.
Does anyone know if the same applies to CSE?
- I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Jan 22, 2019. It is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.
Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Criminality passed.
Eligibility and security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Jan 2020.
Sincerely,
Robyn Sullivan

Hello guys
My AOR is 19th Jan. Is there any Jan AOR still waiting?
I know there is me. AoR 03rd January 2019. :/
I did not order any notes or contact Canadian immigration authority in any way after my application was submitted. I was advised by my agent not to contact them before the 6 month period as it irritates them. I showed patience and kept faith. My agent told me that most applications are decided within 8 months, few may take as long as 10 months.
Through this forum I'd like to network with you people I plan to move to Vancouver or Greater Vancouver, BC.

Does it really irritate them? I contacted them a bit 2 months ago regarding some additional documents because they were sent directly to them. There was quite a bit of back and forth.. I hope that doesn't affect my application.
Heyy, my AOR was Jan 22nd and I only had update about passing medical exam. I am from Europe and haven’t received anything about Biometrics while my friends did. I am stressed about this too, but I think it is on their side, so we should not worry. If they need it, they will send a message or it might sliped through and that’s just better for us I think!

fingers crossed with your applications guys
Yeah...there are few bunch of people who are yet to receive BIL... fingers crossed ...what's ur current status of application?
you haven't got your biometrics request yet??
Nope

Since you had a valid reason to contact them due to additional documents I don't think it will affect your case. Moreover, if one meets all the requirements, application will be approved. It's just that one should avoid contacting them before the 6 month period as they have too much work load.
