I received by AoR on 03/01/2019 and passed medicals on 13/02/2019 and biometrics completed by 25/02/2019.
I think my BG status read 'BG in process' since the very beginning, not sure though.
It has been 186 days since AoR. I called CIC and found that my visa office was Ottawa. And, got a generic response to email query which was 'Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications'.

I am planning to order my GCMS notes tonight. Not sure how that will help, but still. Is there anything else that can be done here?

Raised CSE in May . VO Ottawa
Then mailed Ottawa office Got generic reply that it’s in queue for review by an officer.. 19 days left for me .

I guess ordering your GCMS notes is the way forward for you.
But when you called, were you told your Eligibility has started then?
I am trying to differentiate between : Your file is currently under review and
requires additional verifications' and

queue for review by an officer.
These are the usual responses from Ottawa VO for most January AORs at this stage.
