16 months since date of my application
5 months over since my test
Montreal office
Waiting for Oath
Today I received inquiries from cic asking me to attend for another interview
Any one has experience on my case

Let me know what your lawyer says regarding status at Scarborough office. My application is also stuck there.

She said there is a delay and told me not to worry...... LOL.. well It's been 16 months since I sent in my application. My friend sent in his in Nov 2017 and he got his citizenship in 10 months. I am not sure why he got his so fast......

That's not fast, that's the normal time if no issue found with the application or the applicant. It takes them time to re-evaluate sometime.

LOL well tell the people in this thread that. My application is VERY straight forward. squeaky clean.

I was just explaining, what's the harm? Don't compare with your friend then and you need to wait. Good luck!

My lawyer is saying a new thing everyday. First it was like, contact us next month and then in 2 weeks you will hear sth and after 4 months going back and forth she said your application is a complex one. I am still wondering what type of complications I can cause and how harmful I could be to the country!!! Compared to many many people I know who barely where in country and got their citizenship in less than 10 months. I just stopped calling them. I might try contacting a MP directly, although my lawyer was also getting the info from a MP.

Technically, lawyer is not needed. But we asked a lawyer to help us through the process of filling out the forms and for now to do the follow ups. Just wanted to be safe. But yeah. As you said it is not necessary.
