Thanks, We contacted our MP to see the status of our file after 12 month, my husband need to expedite the process for work, he need it to travel, we try many times for ourself and nothing our file wasn't moving. The MP help us to sent the letter in our behalf, after that we receive a phone call to verified the urgency and then our file started to move.. I am not sure was the MP or the different times we try. Or good luck.. I really can not understand the process.. some files are very quick some take a long time.. so who knows, maybe it is just the right time, I can said we were only 22 persons taking the test plus few over 55 for interview, only 3 officer doing the interview, maybe the office can't handle so many cases.. Good luck with your file

few important things to know for Passport application form:
Your guarantor should be a Canadian and is willing to share his Passport details. On form, the guarantor needs to provide the Passport number and sign the form. The guarantor needs to sign the passport photograph(s) of the applicant as well.
Note: Your guarantor may get the call from the Passport office for verification so he/she should answer the call.
as for the reference, he/she should have PR though there is no field in the form to select that value.
I took my exam on Feb 28 and my profile has not been updated to DM yet. Do you think I should contact them to follow up? I believe it doesn't usually take more than a couple of days. Is that right?
Not true - I used someone that did not have PR as one of my references. They did have a Canadian work permit but that doesn't even matter either. Nowhere in the reference requirements is any mention of them needing any ties to Canada whatsoever.
