October 24, 2018: Received test invite
November 27, 2018: Took citizenship test. During interview received "Request for Additional Information" November 27, 2018 asking for US CBP entry records at that time.
January 15, 2019: Notified IRCC processing time for US CBP entry records was 3-6 months (plus I expected the shutdown time to be added to that), asked if they would accept any alternative evidence.
February 7, 2019: Received oath invitation letter.
March 1, 2019: Citizenship ceremony in Vancouver, BC (at Fan Expo, making it particularly memorable)
Hi everyone, My application was received Jan 4th, no AOR yet. I just noticed that I might have left the SIN field blank on the last print out. Will they return my application just because of SIN? So disappointing

It is not certain, my friend sent his family application without SIN for himself and his wife, for his wife they asked for SIN number later without returning, and for himself they did not ask at all, today he is a citizen. IRCC works in it's own mysterious ways.

To give you an idea how "smart" some agents are, one of my friends got his application returned because of an "Incorrect" answer, he talked to so many people and found out his answer was correct. He sent the same application back, with the same answer and his application was accepted this time. In this confusion he wasted "Just" 3 months. Not a big deal !!

Yesterday was our test and passed with 19/20. Officer was so nice, he checked Passports and IDs only and just regular talks. Today checked the status and it's DM.

You became a Canadian citizen on March 5, 2019.
Went to apply for passport on March 6 and got it today (Mar 8) with express processing as I'm travelling soon.
For people who need to apply for passport urgently, you don't have to wait the 2 business days. Just keep checking your online status. Once it shows Complete you are good to go.
2 business days are requied for the passeport application after the ceremony.
Does it mean we have to apply on the third day after the ceremony or the second day is ok? For those who completed the process when did you go to the passeport office ?
Hi everyone
I took my exam on Feb 28 and my profile has not been updated to DM. Does it sound normal? I thought it should take no more than couple of days!
