I am the same we applied for PR cards last week because our process is not moving and we really need to travel, now they are saying your citizenship application will be on Hold.. what to do in case you really need to travel soon
I dont think holding thingy is true, I applied my PR renewal about 2 months back but got my citizenship test last week, so relax. Also they wont expedite your PR card until it actually goes in process. Currently as per the site there is a 79 day processing period for PR card. I will try to check with immigration officer during my test (about the hold) and let you know, my test it about 3 weeks down though

ECAS updated shortly that they sent me the invite October 10.
