So I made a web form query and got a std. reply stating my file was in mississauga offiice... then today I got the fingerprint request - However the request is only for ME and not my family.

Is this normal? I was hoping I'll get the test request for the whole family, instead I am getting fingerprint request only for me.

its normal. you will get the letter in your mail box about FP. After that or before you will get the Test invitation.

I made a web form query too and I got a standard reply that they are reviewing my citizenship eligibility. But this is pretty standard and my office is standard. Getting a FP request you know atleast there is some action on your file.

Thanks Zizu. Mine starts with a 7 (Location - Edmonton) so I do believe that IRCC will interact with your file earlier than mine which shows as they have sent out an FP request.

I am just wondering whether to go for FP / have a followup query /query individually from each UCI in my family application - maybe this will kick off FP request for them as well

so i've been in process since March... could it be that there's something wrong in the app? like a discrepancy or something? and if there was something, wouldn't they have contacted me to seek clarification by now (after more than 4 months?)
