Maybe we need to write to our MP regarding Mississauga office delay, without specifying an application. They need to investigate this office and support them with extra resources.

Let's do it. How do we go about this?

Did my test and interview today (20/20). I found it fairly easy, because I was well prepared by reading the book a few times, taking some online practice tests, and then going back and reviewing the book in the sections where I made mistakes in the tests. If anyone's wondering, in my opinion there are enough free resources available that it should not be necessary to pay for any practice tests or other study guides. The book is your primary source, and the free quizzes will help guide you to which parts of the book you need to re-read.

My interview was smooth - I was asked if I had a copy of my I-94 US entry record, which I did not have. It wasn't an issue, but I'd recommend people print this out and take it to their interview. I was asked a few questions about how I determined the dates that I filled out, and my answers seemed to satisfy the officer (I said I looked up flight tickets, and emails/messages for when I did land crossings).

I was then told to expect an email with my Oath date in the next 2-5 months, which seems to be what everyone gets told.

If there are stamps on the passport that are in a different language other than french and English, do I have to translate them before going to the test?
I'm trying to be proactive before I get invited to the test...

The FPs were sent last Friday to RCMP and I called CIC today to know if they have received the investigation results. They told me that it is not something they add in my file. I will know either by getting test invite or a mail telling me that I didn't provide the required documents.

Is the web form working better to get the info? I would prefer to know for sure that they have it .

It's too early for IRCC to know weather your FP was received or not. The fingerprint go directly to the RCMP and after completing the check they send the result to them, that takes about a week.

But the background check isn't done by RCMP alone, Secret services also conduct their own check which is more time consuming. I waited 3 months to receive test invite after I sent my FP.

Pratice the tests in these sites. However is very important ( in my modest opinion) read at least 2 times Discover Canada. You'll have a better understanding of the questions more self confidence. Good luck!

My ECAS changed to Decision Made this morning, less than 24hrs after passing the test and interview!

Could someone please update the spreadsheet, and also change my test date to August 2nd on there because I just noticed it's been input wrong.

Decision Made just means they've ticked all the boxes and done all their checks. It means that the next step is to invite you to a ceremony. They obviously can't invite anyone to a ceremony until they've made a decision on their application, but they're also obviously not always going to invite people the very moment they make their final decision.

So that's all there is to know. They've made a decision, but nothing else is updated because nothing else has happened yet.
