you can complete webform to contact them and ask for status update. When I sent enquiry, luckily the very next day in the morning I received test invitation. I am not saying that you will also get test inv. as soon as you send them webform to enquire about status update but you never know. I don't see any harm in sending status enquiry. Good Luck.

Wasn't your application within normal processing time ? Did they still reply

Citizenship application processing time is 12 months. My application was received on January 31 , 2018 and In Process on April 24, 2018.

They responded the very next day by sending test invitation email. There is no harm in contacting them, worst case scenario is they may not reply.

Hello to all

I have a question, I am located in London, ON. I applied for the citizenship in Januray 2018 and now I am in the IP stage.

My question is, do they have citizenship tests daily, or once a week or twice a month? or where can i check for an answer as I googled it and didn't find an answer. I was told they are waiting for my name to come up in the queue.

Test Date July 18th. 19/20 on the test.
Had an interview after the test, they wanted to check travel records, had to verify a trip to the US as I’d been twice within a three month period, because of this border security hadn’t stamped the second visit.

A friendly reminder, bring your COPR and supporting documents you submitted with your citizenship application. I read the instructions wrong and brought

This isn't a legal opinion. I looked through the cic website and I don't see anywhere that you will have to inform them of the employer change for citizenship application because the citizenship application isn't based on your employment. It's based on the number of days you've resided in Canada as a PR. So, based on what I saw and ready, you might not have to do anything. I would just give cic a call to confirm.

Congrats i passed my test and i got 20/20 the agent told me everything is good i'm going to validate your citizenship application, but when i cheek online it's still in progress.

This morning I received a surprising email - Notice to take the Oath of Citizenship Super excited. very smooth journey.
Since applied, my timeline is as below;

Office :- Surrey, BC
Citizenship Application received :- January 31, 2018
AOR received :- March 02, 2018
E-Cas In Process :- April 24, 2018
Sent email to enquire application status :- June 20, 2018
Email notice to appear in test/interview :- June 21, 2018
Interview/test date :- July 11, 2018. Appeared in an Interview and was asked to provide Police certificate from UAE. Submitted very next day.
Decision Made :- July 20, 2018
Email Notice to take Oath :- July 24, 2018
Date of Oath taking ceremony :- August 14, 2018
