received DM and oath letter on may 24th and Oath is done today. So we are finally Canadian citizens.please update ..

The fingerprints must be send electronically in digitalized form to RCMP (not to IRCC directly). But how the fingerprints are digitalized is not important. Usually police station and fingerprints company have machines that scan the finger and produce the electronic form automatically. The one you went to obviously doesn't have such machine so they will create the electronic form from the ink version.

If you want to be sure you can contact RCMP in a week or two to check if they received and processed your fingerprints. They are quick to answer (unlike IRCC).

thanks.. thats exactly what happened as you mentioned... my finger printing results were sent to IRCC by RCMP right next day....

anyone aware of next steps after finger printing results are received by IRCC???

Yes. Same as usual, wait and wait and wait . Hopefully you'll get test invite soon.
I would also suggest to contact IRCC every month or so just to make sure that you're application is not forgotten somewhere.
