Hey guys, this is a thread for January 2014 Outland applications. I am a December applicant, but I'm making this because I've seen some January posts already.

If any of you would like to offer to create a spreadsheet and administer the thread, go ahead and do so. Share your timeline and stories with all the other people who applied in January.

I sent out my application just the day before so hopefully application will reach next week it's destination. Planning to move to Canada at the end of the summer, if we get papers and all done. My husband is a Quebecois and we're planning to move there, so we'll be facing the extra step with MICC. So that's my story in short, my timeline on the left!

Otherwise I wouldn't have minded to offer to create a spreadsheet, but unfortunately I've no idea how to do that. Hopefully more will join this thread!

I was married last month and came back to Canada.
I'm in the process of finalizing my application for my spouse. I have a query and hope some could help me out.

If I travel back to India for 2-3 months after I submit my application (say End of Jan) will it affect my wife's PR application ?
I'll be here in Canada till my sponsorship is approved (which takes 33 days appx)

I need to go to India in May for 2 - 3 months.

Pls let me know.

As a PR, you are not allowed to leave Canada during the entire process of sponsoring your spouse.

Hello January 2014 applicants,

I am a December 2013 Outland applicant like Avadava. I created and maintain the December 2013 Outland spreadsheet for our group along with the help of two volunteers. Thanks to Avadava, I decided to help your group get started on a spreadsheet until someone from your group takes charge and maintains it (you probably would need two to three people max).
