So... I did something I swore I wouldn't do.. I EMAILED CPP-O...
I couldn't help myself. I just wanted to make sure they at least HAD our application there in Ottawa. I got the following reply:
Dear Madam / Sir,
This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.
An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number.
Regards,
Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
So... thoughts? Does this mean technically our status has moved from "Application Received" to "In Process" even though it still only says Application received in ECAS?

Staff from CPP Ottawa are nicer than the ones from VOSP-Brazil.
I also promised myself not to contact them but when I heard from another applicant her papers weren't there after almost 4 months filled I could not help myself but email them and politely ask about mine.
Here is their short answer:
"Yes, it has been received by our office."
It would've been nice if they've said something like: working on December's applications right now... or something... ???
That's where I intend to move. I am from Northern Ireland and it feels very similar with the whole Celtic thing, except without a lot of the NI nonsense. Halifax is one of my favourite cities - good pubs serving great beer, good wine, great food, and some of the friendliest people you could hope to meet.

This is very nice to hear.
Thank you guys! I am sure it will be great the exchange from a crazy big city to a place like Halifax-NS.
Looking forward for getting there, to be with my beloved husband and to meet friendly people!
