Hi there!

I have been following this particular topic for a couple days now but I only just registered! We filed our outland sponsorship application some time around the 14th of January (we hired a consultant for our case) and got an email the fifth of February saying we received our AOR January 22nd. I think I check Ecas about 10 times a day! It drives me nuts! anyways seeing as I have been following everything on this topic I figured I might as well register and get involved! Haha, good luck to everyone!

Quick question, if I received an email from immigration on feb 5 saying they received my application jan 22 doesn't that mean I got my AOR jan 22? In Ecas it says jan 22 too. ( ups said it was delivered before the 22 I believe). And another one which may be stupid, does immigration count days by work days or all days. For example, the 55 days they say it usually takes to have the sponsor approved, work days or all days?

AOR is the date CIC informed you they have your application, so it would be Feb 5th.

Amikety, it just says we received your application to sponsor goldenkagi on january 24, 2013 on ecas. M still hasn't gotten an email yet so we have no date. Congrats again!!!

You will most likely just get the sponsorship approval in email and no AOR. I never got an AOR.
