Thank you thank you! Just wanted to give the update. We thought the application had been transferred to CPP-O because it was supposed to be in Buffalo. Just hoping this gives other people a timeline.

annarella, Dr Eng X, we received the GCMS notes today, by email, much earlier than expected (we asked for them on Sept 17); of course nothing is started yet (i'm not surprised there) but still some things r new for us and useful, there r some notes here and there; i need to go through them deeper when i can actually focus

don't despair, why not send the request again? i think they didn't send u yet cuz they r actually working on ur file and they wait until the notes r complete with the visa request too i wish we would have gotten that instead of the notes

Just an update.

We finally received our GCMS notes today.

We found out that our visas were supposedly issued last July ( it said PRV x3 issued) but they made a second note stating Visa not Issued, expired medicals.
On the third and most recent note last August 29, it is stated that they requested for the extension of medicals.
Hopefully the medical extension approval will come soon, itll be a great christmas and birthday gift for me and my husband to have our visas finally issued.

Did you receive your second request for passport . Or u still waiting ???? I am in similar situation and I want to call Delhi office to get my passport back . its been with them from 4 months and I have to travel to US.

What is the legality?

We need to go back to the states to land anyway, so we decided to ship the passport (with the paperwork) back to our address in Seattle. We had a family member who was coming up to visit us bring us the USPS Express envelope and required postage. I then went to canada post, got a bubblewrapped mailer (stronger!) and put the big usps envelope in. In the USPS envelope, I put the passport, four pictures (because I like to go big or go home and you can only buy them in fours) and the height and eye color form inside the envelop.

I paid for registered express mail. It left on the 17th. It will be received by the consulate tomorrow. I suspect they will open it, deal with it, and ship it back. I suspect I will receive it in Seattle for the first week of November (at least, that's what I'm hoping for). I will then go to Seattle and bring DH back, legally.

I think its hard to say.
our address changed 3 weeks before our status was changed to in process.. which seemed kind of weird for us.

Our address never changed, but then we are doing it outland? so many that's why? They have our passport

Hey everyone, just wanted to say my wife got PPR today! App submitted on January 18, Sponsorship approval on May 8, PPR October 30, all 2012.

It won't change until the visa is approved - in most cases.
