Also does anyone know what happens when the applicant gets approved in the visa office abroad? do they go for an interview? or if they dont need to go for an interview, how do they receive their Visa?
Hi great people.I just received a call now at 8.40am by a lady from high commosssion.she said that my application is complete and that my passport is ready for collection.I was really waiting forthat call.I will let ya know the decision as soon as I'm holding it with my two hands...thank God
all i have recieved since applying was an email saying that i am approved as a sponsor and that our file is being sent to ankara. does anyone know what is the next step? i recieved the email in May 4th and currently its july 2nd....can someone suggest what i should do next? please!!! i am desperate
Hey Guys last week the ecas showed my wife PR as in Process today it went to decision made.. and they never called for an interview.. So nyone does that mean her PR is approved??

Sure i applied for my wife PR on 9th Jan2012.
Recieved by mississauga office on 10 Jan2012.
My sponsorship got approved on 10 March and on 29th March my wife got PPR(passport Request )
In May they asked for call records and on 7th June we send them additional photos.
Ecas went into "In Process" on 23 June and 1st July i shows Decision Made and the concerned department will contact you..

All I can suggest, if you want to hear something, is to write your VO in Ankara and quote your application number and just ask politely what the status is of your file. Say you haven't heard anything since May4th and you are writing to make sure everything is OK.
Know though, that waiting this long doesn't mean anything is wrong. This is just a loooong process 8)

When i check online there are two heaadings, one is for sponsorship application status which it says descion made, and the other is premamnt resident application status which says the application has been recieved. with reading all the posts i am confused as to which stage my application from is at. can u enlighten me please?
where it says the descion has been made it says that i recieved the email which said that i got approved on may4th. and that they are sending my file to ankara. after that i have not recieved anything from them. what will be the next step amoss? do you know?
Happy Canada Day, everyone and especially so because my husband's visa has been issued! He was so taken aback he asked me three times if I was serious when I told him the news. Time to plan his landing now!

mine is the same
i sent in the application in janaury, the sponsor was approved april 5 and the same day the application was sent to mexico city.
since than i have not recevied anything from them. and my ecase has not changed either.
some people just dont hear anything untill passport is required. i would say just wait a bit, dont get too worried about it.
