best of luck we also sent our application in jan on 23rd and cic recieved on 26th but we feel like we are waiting for the last few years for any update from CIC. it took months to prepare for us also. what is the applicant's visa office in your case?

Thanks so much pelipeli and ocanadaguy ... I am so glad that this is step is finally over and our application is moving to the next step. I was starting to think that I might have forgotten to sign something or missed a date, etc ...

Can anyone confirm the email address that cic uses to send the letters? I'd like to add it to my contact list so that it doesn't accidentally end up in spam!

My gmail account says " hooray, no spam!" when all I want it to say is, you have spam mail! Never thought I'd be asking for spam mail lol

50% of the first 10 people have received sponsorship...this is so amazing!

I can't wait for more updates!

Hmmm i just gave a call to CIC. Itseems they haven't open my application. CIC received my application on 12th Jan 2012. Anybody here who submitted application around same time and got approval... :'(
