My letter came from Ottawa too...someone was saying they had to send some of the apps to ottawa to help out. Regardless of where it came from at least its here!

A friend of a friend who works for CIC (in accounting) told me that. No clue about why they're taking so long though.

A friend of a friend says it's April's fool. It is good to see things are progressing. Let us know if you can get any intel on why the delay that is driving us all crazy. I do hope it is the spring break excuse.
I found Jan 2011 applicants if it is spring break then we'd expect it to have happened for 2011

they have not mentioned when they have transfered my file to new delhi but yesterday only my husband got the approval letter and information related to that at present it is there in new delhi

We just received an email from CIC-M. (03-April-2012) Our application for sponsorship has been approved and the Application has been forwarded to visa office (New Delhi) for further processing.
I wish all my batchmates (January 2012 Applicants) to hear good news soon.
We are going to celebrate this moment.
