Congratulations everyone who recieved ITA today!
If anyone here can help with my query about fund:
If I have the fund across 2 banks and my current job's provident fund, what documents do I need to submit?
Also, a portion of the fund will be 4 months old by the last date of application submission. Is that going to be a problem?
Hey Alli, correct me if I'm wrong, I was reading the process for medicals and it turns out that the first step is to meet with an accredited doctor for your country (named as panel physician). After this step we will be informed by CIC if we're good to get laboratory exams (i.e. blood test). Am I correct? So the laboratory exams take place a few days after you've met with the panel physician of your country?

This is all wrong. You won't be informed by CIC to do your medicals nor do you have to meet with any doctor beforehand, you have to book an upfront medical with any clinic on this list http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx. Once you do the medicals you will receive an e-medical sheet which you will have to upload in your document checklist.

If your funds are divided amongst 2 banks, then you have to get fund availability letters from both the banks. Just submit an application to the bank and they will provide it.
Along with this, provide 6 months bank statements from both the banks.
For portion of funds which is just 4 month old, submit a notarized gift deed/source of fund details on a Rs. 500 stamp paper. This should take care of proof of funds part without any additional queries.
Starting to fill out my application now. Really not looking forward to the travel history section, I've done a very large amount of travelling....probably like 20 countries or there about. Do they actually check something with each country as part of the criminal/background check? Is it likely that having done lots of travelling will slow down my application?
Hi!! Need clarification- in the family part- my 1.5 year old son's immediate family members r required that have not been identified in this application. There is no option of NA. What shall i fill as his immediate family is us who are obviously included. tia

I had a query regarding proof of funds....my account generally does have substantial money transfers....however my father-in-law will be helping me and my husband with the amount required for immigration.....should i take a gift deed from him? Or will it be ok if he transfers the amount in parts?
Proof of funds is generally a reason for rejection so a little anxious about it....
Also have we created a whatsapp group? If not already done i wouldnt mind creating one if you guys drop your numbers in a private message to me.....and if already made then can i please know who i can send my number to since i would like to be a part of it too.....thank you!
