Guys, probably a silly question but I'd ask anyways to be sure.
- I recieved an ITA on May 23, 2018.
- I still do not have all documents available, I am in the process of getting them ready
- The timeline for 90 days is to upload all the documents only
- This means, processing time will start before or after 90 days (maximum) of recieving the ITA
Therefore, the 90 days timeline is to gather all documents, upload and submit for processing.
Please correct me if this is not right.
They will not start processing your application until you've submitted all your documents and paid your fee(s). You have 90 days to do that, but you can submit any time before those 90 days are up, as long as your application is complete. Most people like to submit as early as possible so that their application starts processing sooner.
It's not mandatory. You can pay when you submit the application, or you can save for later. When your application is under review a few months later, they will then ask you to pay the fee.
Guys we submitted all our documents and have cleared the medical exam.....so at the MEP stage....but we also got a message from CIC that they need us to submit a clear copy of our passports (me and my husband)....i have a few questions regarding this....
- Do we scan all pages of the passport or just the first and the last and the ones with stamps?
- Does it have to be a coloured copy?
- Does it have to be notarised?
Previously we had attached a copy with all pages but while reducing the size i think the quality detoriarated....
Also anyone here whose application has moved beyond the MEP stage? Please share your timeline....
