I'm confused by what you are asking. This thread is for those who received extra year points by IRCC when they are 1-2 months short from a year of exp. It has nothing to do with foreign work exp. Since your initial comment had no context for it, I mistook what you are even asking.

Yes, that was the initial post, but someone asked "What if I already left the company?" so there's no way for us to complete those 1-2 months short from 3 years of foreign work experience, so I replied to them that I am in the same situation, and asked them if their PR application gets approved.

I'll let others chime into the experience part. But if even with a year of experience alone(in this case failing to show 2 years exp) you meet the minimum CRS cutoff, you'll be good.

I don't even remember the nuances of the original question anymore. But if IRCC gave you points for a year when you only have 11 month - wait for a month to finish a year's experience and then submit your application.
