Issue with daily travel from US to Canada

I recently moved to Canada from US and cross US- Canada border everyday for work (since my job is still in US).

My car is registered to a US address (I have a house in US too). Ideally I would want to keep it that way since I plan to move back to US in 3-4 years. But every time I come back to Canada CBSA gives me a hard time and asks me to import it. Has anyone been through similar situations or has experience importing car from US to Canada?

You need to import the car to Canada an then reimport to the US once you are moving back in 3-4 years.
