but i have got the visa so if i change the university now how my visa will work as visa is valid for one year and if i change the university and choose 2 years course then how will i going to get 2 year visa again ?
also my current program is human resource management in York University and if i change my university for 2 year program then how my visa will change to 2 year from 1 year visa.
i wanted to change just because of program duration as in york university my current program is for 8 months (2 semester) only so i dont know whether it will be considered as 8 months only or 1 year program
any idea?

Your TRV is NOT a study permit. The study permit will be issued when you get to Canada. If you show a 2 year program, you will get a 2 year permit.

You can't. You apply for a new one before expiry.

Well yeah once you are given a study visa it will be tough to get it changed but what you can do here is that you can change your course once you reach Canada and do a 1+1 from any college you want.

how i will change ?
my current one is of 8 months and i got visa for 1 year
and i think i can extend for 8 months more but then i am not sure whether i will going to get 16 months PGWP work permit or 3 years PGWP

They can always refuse any app but not likely.

Your agent is probably trying to get more money out of you.

Seriously, AGAIN, the TRV validity has nothing to do with your study permit length. The
study permit is issued by CBSA when you enter. This is not complicated.

It’s written in CIC website that if the total length of your studies is of 16th months and more you are eligible for a 3 year PGWP.

Hi

1, No it isn't. Here is what is written on the CIC website
How long is a post-graduation work permit valid?
How long your PGWP is valid for depends on the length of your study program.
If your program was less than 8 months
You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.
If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years
We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.
For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.
If your program was 2 years or more
We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.
