I got email from someone saying that they are a canadian company and willing to hire engineers to be working for startups in the US but working from canada... anyone heard about this? My red flag on this feels like they have tie up with canada govt.
the complete email content is below
"Hi Mr.D
My name is Reid and I'm the Head of Operations at Mobsquad. we are a canadian company currently hiring top-tier software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists. Our employees are based in canada, and they are paired with the U.S based start-ups on an exclusive, long-term basis. By doing this, we are combining the wonderful quality of life and immigration system that canada offers with the technical opportunities of top silicon valley startups.
Beyond offering high-quality jobs, we also offer full-service immigration. We have partnered with the canadian govt to get successsful candidates into canada in as little as four weeks and they each have a clear path to permanent residency status or canadian citizenship.
if any of this sounds interesting it would be great to hear from you.

IMO the following section means there's a probability this is a scam:
"Beyond offering high-quality jobs, we also offer full-service immigration. We have partnered with the canadian govt to get successsful candidates into canada in as little as four weeks and they each have a clear path to permanent residency status or canadian citizenship."
Remember that the company may be real - but this doesn't necessarily mean that the person who is reaching out to you isn't a scammer.
Adding to my comment above, Reid is the co-founder. The company has around 10K employees. There is zero chance he is involved in recruitment - he has people who do this for him. Also, it's not a Canadian company - it's a U.S. based company that has recently stood up offices in Canada.
That's good news - but email addresses are of course quite easily faked. Hopefully it's still real. Warning signs this is fake include asking for money, promising to pay for travel / accommodation / food, anything more than 3 weeks of holidays per year.

Share the offer here with personal details removed but as per previous posts this ‘agency’ is thought to be suspect. Any job offering free flights, accomodation, food and even transport is likely not genuine. Did you notice the contact us number on the website is not same as above ?
